VERY RARE early Schatt & Morgan Cutlery Co Titusville PA Lockback carpenters whittler...split backspring.

This is a really nice vintage early Schatt & Morgan that is really hard to find. Knife is in very good used condition. The master blade looks to be possibly short but I am not an expert and not sure how someone could re-shape the blade the way it is if it is in fact short. The master locks down nice and tight and solid with absolutely no movement or wobble. The other blades show some use with surface scratching etc and both secondary blades are also tight with strong snap and no wobble. 
The handles are absolutely beautiful golden brown cattle bone in very good condition with one small patch on the front at the bottom right. It's hard to see and matches nicely, please see pics. It also has nickel silver bolsters, pins and steel liners and crest shield. Handling scratches etc..but still very good!
