From a recent small collection I purchased  from a collector who bought each knife new and put them on display.  Unfortunately he didn't save all the boxes.  This is a Schatt and Morgan 14th Anniversary Series fiddle back whittler made in 2004.  This is also called a split backspring and a swell center whittler.   The handles are blood red and black jigged bone that is chip and crack free.  The stainless steel blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  The pull on the main blade is about a 6, hard but not a nail breaker.  This is by design to put as much pressure on the main blade as possible to keep the blade from folding in use.  This is accomplished by splitting the backspring and focusing the two backsprings onto the one blade.  Measures 3 1/2" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.   Free shipping within the USA.
