This is a great old Wards brand scout/utility knife.  Wards was a brand sold by the Montgomery Wards chain of department stores from about 1935-1950.  I'm not certain of the maker, but some of the Wards knives were made by Western, and I suspect that is where this one was made.  This knife is in very good condition with a very nearly full main spear blade.  The jigged Rogers Bone handles are chip and crack free and are simply gorgeous.  All blades/implements open and close with good snap and no wobble.  This is a classic old time American made scout/utility knife that would enhance any collection.  You may find a better one, but you'll have to search far and wide to do so.  Better not let this jewel slip by you.
