VINTAGE 1971 Case 10 Dot Slimline Trapper in Near Mint Condition. Never used, never carried and never sharpened. It has a 3” clip point blade, overall length is 7 3/8” opened and 4 1/8” closed. It comes with a custom Handmade, hand tooled and hand stitched leather sheath. The scales are brown jigged delrin; they are not cracked, scratched or dinged in any way. The brass pins are all present and tight. The tang stamps are: CASE XX with 10 dots. The other side is 60148. The blade is stainless steel, the liners are brass, and there is NO separation between liners and scales. The blade has good snap and there is NO wobble. The only wear on the blade and nickel silver bolsters is minor handling wear. There is one tiny blemish on the back side of the blade near the tang; I believe it is a manufacturing defect. (see pics ) The leather sheath has a strong friction fit, the knife cannot fall out, even if turned upside down and vigorously shaken. It has a one of a kind custom carving of an elk in the pines. Together, this knife and sheath are a beautiful combination, you could be proud to own. It’s a great marriage of a 51-year-old knife and a brand-new modern leather sheath; it is designed to be a right hand carry.
