This series combines CRKT's super strong InterFrame design with dual 420J2 stainless steel liners, one locking, with bead blast finished stainless steel bolsters and black Zytel® scales. Assembly is with superior Torx® fasteners throughout, and the blade pivots on Teflon® bearings. Castellated grooves at the handle spine improve grip and give a tactile sense of the handle location.

The spear point blade has a false edge on top, and is made from tough AUS 6M stainless steel, satin finished. A unique rectangular grooved thumb disk fits perfectly with the Tighe Tac’s design. The blade is available in Razor-Sharp or Combination Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point serrated versions. Completing the Tighe Tac is a removable custom gray, Teflon plated stainless steel clothing/gear clip, with Brian's 'tie' logo discretely cut in. The Tighe Tac is a perfectly balanced work tool, and just as much at home in the pocket of a tuxedo as in denims.
