BOKER’S IMPROVED CUTLERY 2-Blade Figural Leg Jack  Folding Pocket Knife with a Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Great Set of Light Briwn Smooth Bovine Bone Scales in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Three (3) Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Two (2) Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 2 5/8” in Length, Made in Solingen, Germany by H. Boker & Co’s Cutlery Between c.1860-1880’s.

This is an Excellent Antique ***EXTREMELY RARE*** Very Early H. BOKER’S IMPROVED CUTLERY 2-Blade Figural Leg Folding Pocket Knife. This stamp was one of the second earliest stampings used by the Boker company in Solingen Germany. It was made between 1860’s and the 1880’s making this knife between 132-161 years old and it’s still in excellent condition. The knife has a carbon steel clip point main blade with a long nail pull. The front face has some scattered very light stains while the rear face has several cluster of light pitting. Only a few light stains on either blade face.  Stamped on the rear tang is H. BOKER’S (no & CO’S)(over) IMPROVED (over) CUTLERY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo for that era. Next to the spear point blade main is a carbon steel pen secondary blade with a long nail pull. Both faces are generally clean with just a couple of light stains. Stamped on the front tang is H. BOKER’S (no & CO’S)(over) IMPROVED (over) CUTLERY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo for that era. On the other end of the frame is the second carbon steel pen tertiary blade with a long nail pull. Both faces have no more than a few scattered very light micro-pits and a light stain or two. Stamped on the front tang is H. BOKER’S (no & CO’S)(over) IMPROVED (over) CUTLERY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo used in that era.  Both blades have excellent snap on open and excellent hard and loud snap on close  Both blades also have hard half-stops. This knife has a great looking set of light brown smooth bovine bone scales. They’re in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. Though the scales may look like different shades I can assure you they're exactly the same on each side. The knife has three (3) brass handle pins in each scale. There’s brightly polished nickel silver shoe shaped end caps while the top end is open. The knife has two steel back springs with both having scattered pitting and staining. They’re both free of any cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This Antique ***EXTREMELY RARE***  H. Boker’s Improved Cutlery 2-Blade Figural Keg Folding Pocket Knife was made in the Boker factory located in Solingen, Germany between 1860’s-1880’s. It’s still in excellent condition and is between 131 and 162 years old. The knife is 2 3/8” in length. This is a rare early Boker in a unique Figural Leg pattern.
