I’ve always thought Frank Buster had the best CT scales ever used. I only call this one near mint because it has a few more handling marks than I would like to see. Under NKCA guidelines it would be rated as Mint.  Frank didn’t make a lot of 2-blade Texas Toothpicks. I’ve gone through the Fight’n Rooster catalog a dozen times and this is the first of his knives that I could not find.  He usually made runs of at Keats 200 but thus limited edition Texas Toothpick is 1 of only 50 made and has some unique features compared to his other toothpicks.  This 2-blade Texas Toothpick has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel clip point main blade with a common Matchstriker nail pull, it’s original factory mirror polish and it original factory edge. Etched on the front face is FIGHT'N ROOSTER and the Fight’n Rooster logo in gold and not the normal black. Just above the front tang it’s etched with 1 of 50. Stamped on the front tang of the main blade is FIGHT'N ROOSTER (in an arch) (over) the two Fight'n Rooster logo (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the back tang of the main blade is FRANK BUSTER (in an arch) (over) CELEBRATED (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. The secondary blade is an unused and unsharpened carbon steel pen blade with a common Matchstriker nail pull, its original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge. Stamped on the front tang of the pen blade is FIGHT'N ROOSTER (in an arch) (over) the two FIGHT'N ROOSTER logo (over) GERMANY. Both blades have excellent, hard and loud snap on both open and close. The scales are a gorgeous set of multi-colored red, green, gold and black glitter Antique Christmas Tree Celluloid scales. The glitter is still clear and bright. They’re in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There's a brightly polished nickel silver long crest type shield inlaid flush in the front scale. There are three (3) nickel silver handle pins in each scale. The knife has brightly polished nickel silver rounded bolsters and brightly polished nickel silver clasp style end caps. The liners are brightly polished brass. The knife has two (2) polished steel back springs and they are free of any cracks or breaks and they still perform the functions they were designed to perform. This gorgeous Near Mint Condition Frank Buster Celebrated Cutlery Fight’n Rooster 2-Blade Texas Toothpick Pocket Knife with a great set of antique Christmas Tree Celluloid Scales is 5” in length and one of only 50 made like this. The knife was made in the Solingen, Germany factory where all his knives were made between 1982-1994.
