This is a quite rare vintage knife set produced by Puma.  It is a set of 5 folding knives...all different in size...that heralds the five large African game animals.  There were only 300 ( I believe) of these knife sets ever produced...and this is set #45.  All 5 knives being sold bear the number 45.

You can find more information about this rare knife set online.  My online research indicates that these sets originally sold for $2,000 and the last sale of these sets that I am aware of exchanged hands at $1,800.
