1994 Case Brothers Prototype Sowbelly, pattern number IV 3039, with Mastodon bark ivory scales.  Knife has three blades, each with its own backspring - master clip, secondary full length spey and full length skinner.  Knife is 3-3/4 inches closed and 6-1/2 inches open.  Master blade tang stamped:  CASE  BROTHERS   BRADFORD, PA   19 USA 94.  Spey and skinner blade tangs stamped:  CASE BROS.  TESTED  XX   BRADFORD PA.  The back of the master blade is engraved:  Prototype   Mastodon Bark Ivory in script.  Scales are Mastodon bark ivory with an oval shield stamped:  CASE.  Liners are brass and bolsters are nickel silver.

Condition is used – NKCA – Mint in original box with certificate of authenticity.  Handles are flawless with very attractive coloration.  Blades are new and unused with no pits or scratches and have original polish.  Blades are full and have good snap.  All blades have slight wobble, must have come from the factory this way, because the knife has had no use.  Photos are explicitly part of this description.

As the C of A says, Case Classic prototype knives are hand made samples to show handle material, to use in photo shoots and to sell a line of knives to a distributor.
