This is a BOKER'S CUTLERY GERMANY 3-Blade "King Cutter" **Salesman's Sample** Sleeveboard Shadow Lobster Pen Folding Pocket Knife in near mint condition.  The BOKER’S CUTLERY GERMANY stamp was one of the stampings used on Boker Knives made in Germany between c.1891-1944. It came from a salesman’s sample board in the Heinrich Boker Baumwerks in Solingen, Germany and was taken by Ernst Felix, former President of Boker, when he left the company. This Boker’s Cutlery Germany 3-blade Sleeveboard shadow lobster pen pocket knife is in Nesr Mint condition and taken directly from a salesman’s sample board. The knife has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. It still retains all its original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge. The front face is frosted and within it in reverse etching is “King Cutter” inside a banner. Stamped on the front tang BOKER’S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang tang is the Boker Tree Brand logo for that era. The knife has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. Stamped on the front tang is the Boker Tree Brand logo of that era. Stamped on the rear tang is BOKER'S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Opening from the bottom of the frame is a carbon steel nail file, or manicure, blade with a long nail pull. Three of the sides are smooth and flat but the face that seats face down into the well is a standard ridge and valley type nail file. The top portion of the blade is a fingernail cleaner. All three blades still have very good snap on both open and close. The scales are a gorgeous set of fiery genuine Mother-of-Pearl in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. They show the pinks, blues, greens and purples in a great slice of pearl when turned in the light. There is a brightly polished nickel silver pointed oval shield inlaid flush in the front scale. There are 3 polished brass handle pins in each scale. The original bail is still riveted to the frame. It has brightly polished brass liners. The two polished steel back springs are free of any cracks or breaks and continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform.
