This is an Unused and Unsharpened **Salesman's Sample** BOKER'S CUTLERY GERNANY 2-Blade Equal End Senator Pen Folding Pocket Knife with an Unused and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, Most of it’s Original Factory Mirror Polish and it’s Original Factory Edge, an Unused and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Long Nail Pull and Most of it’s Original Factory Mirror Polish and it’s Original Factory Edge, A Great Set of Brown Jigged Bone Scales in Excellent Plus Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Three (3) Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Tip Bolsters, Brass Liners, a Single Polished Steel Back Spring with No Cracks or Breaks, 2 11/16" in Length, Made in Germany by H Boker & Co. Located in Solingen, Germany and Made Between c.1891-1944. 

This rare knife came off a salesman’s sample board taken by Ernst Felix, the former president of Boker, when he left the company. Several of those boards of mint knives were acquired by Smokey Mountain Knife Works in the 1980’s. This knife is from one of those boards and has only recently been cut away from one of those boards. This knife has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. It still has most its original factory finish and its original factory edge. There's some light pitting and corrosion on the blade tang and just above it on the front face. The rear face has only some light scuffs. Stamped on the front tang is BOKER'S (over) CUTLERY  (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo for that era. On the other end of the frame is an unused and unsharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a long nail pull. It still has most of its original factory finish and its original factory edge. Both faces just have a few minor scratches with a small light stain on the rear face. Stamped on the front tang is BOKER'S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of the era. Both blades still have hard open and close snap and hard half-stops. he spear blade has an excellent hard open and close snap. The pen blade has an excellent hard snap on open, close and the half-stop. The scales are a great looking set of brown jigged bone stag. They’re in excellent plus condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There are three (3)  brightly polished nickel silver handle pins in each scale. The rounded tip bolsters are brightly polished Nickel Silver  The liners are brass. The knife has a single polished steel back spring which is free of any cracks or breaks and continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. The stamping on this knife was used by the Boker Germany factory between c.1891-1944. This Vintage Equal End Senator Pen Folding Pocket Knife is 2 11/16" in length.
