This is a Vintage or Antique MILER BROS 2-Blade Shadow Pen or Watch Fob Folding Pocket Knife with a Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Nice Set of Brass or Gold Toned Embossed Metal Scales with Various Designs on the Front Scale and the Initials CC Etched or Embossed on the Rear Scale, the Original Brass Bail Still Attached to the Frame, 2 3/8” in Length, Made by Miller Bros Cutlery Co. That was Located in Meriden, Connecticut and Made Between c.1872-1926.

This is a Vintage MILLER BROS 2-Blade Shadow Pen or Watch Fob Folding Pocket Knife. The knife has a carbon steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. There is some scattered staining on the front face and quite a bit on the rear face.  Stamped on the front tang is MILLER (over) BROS. On the other end of the frame is a carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. The front face has a few clusters of staining and light micro-pitting. The rear space has a cluster of staining about mid blade.  Both the pen blade still has an excellent snap on open and close. The spear blade is quiet on open but has a very good snap on close. The handles are either embossed gold toned metal or brass. The front handle has some jagged horizontal lines on one end and a floral motif on the other end. The back scale has the large initials of C (over) C.  They're in very good overall condition. The original brass hail is still riveted to one end of the frame and is stamped but I can't decode it. It looks like b2CO. This code I've never seen before. It has a single steel back spring with no cracks or breaks and continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. This great looking old Vintage Miller Bros Shadow Pen or Watch Fob Pocket Knife is 2 3/8” in length and made between c.1872-1926. Additional photos or information on request.
