The #23 Bullet Trapper from Great Eastern Cutlery their take on a classic trapper substituting the traditional blade profile with a single drop point Skinner paired with a robust liner lock mechanism. A full size handle, flat ground 1095 carbon steel blade, and robust liner lock make this Trapper ready for heavy use. This Northfield UN-X-LD version comes with a polished blade, bolsters with Redtail Jigged Bone covers and UN-X-LD Bullet shield.

Blade: The #23 liner lock Bullet Trapper comes with a single drop point Skinner blade equipped with a polished full flat grind, subtle top swedge and nail nick for opening. Unlike a traditional trapper this version has a stainless liner lock mechanism that pairs with the stainless steel back spring to offer a smooth and snappy operation with added security in use. The blade is etched with "UN-X-LD BULLET" on the front.

Handle: Redtail Jigged Bone handle scales are fitted perfectly to a single polished and grooved nickel silver bolster of the generous handle, supported by solid brass liners. Redtail Jigged Bone delivers an organic look and warm in hand feel, perfect for this timeless traditional design as well as offering enhanced traction. A single stainless steel liner forms the locking mechanism with a generous tab for secure purchase and reliable operation. Brass liners and pins round out the construction along with the polished UN-X-LD Bullet shield.

1095 High Carbon Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
