BOKER & CO SOLINGEN Salesman’s Sample 2-Blade and a Corkscrew Equal End Pen Folding Pocket Knife with an Unused and Unsharpened Stainless Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull and with its Original Factory Mirror Polish and it’s Original Factory Edge and the Salesman Code of 556 Still Perfectly Visible on the Front Face, an Unused and Unsharpened Stainless Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull and its Original Factory Mirror Polish and it’s Original Factory Edge, an Unused Carbon Steel, Corkscrew That Opens From the Bottom of the Frame, an Excellent Set of Multi-shaded Light to Medium Brown Imitation Horn Scales with a Single Very Tight Pin Crack on the Right Center Pin on the Front Scale, Four Brightly Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Rounded Bolsters, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Two Brightly Polished Separate Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 1/4” in Length, Made in Solingen, Germany by H. Boker & Co Between c.1919-1932. 

This is a Vintage Near Mint Equal End Pen Folding Pocket Knife with a corkscrew. This knife is one of many I’m selling that came directly off a Salesman’s Sample Board that was in the H Boker factory in Solingen, Germany which was taken by Ernst Felix, the former president of Boker, when he left the company. Made between c.1919-1932 this Equal End Pen/Bartender’s knife was made in the H. Boker & Co factory in Solingen, Germany. This beautiful old Boker has an unused and unsharpened stainless steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. It still has its original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge. It also has the original salesman’s Code of 556 printed in black ink still plainly visible on the front face of the blade. Stamped on the front tang is H BOKER (over) & CO (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of that period and ROSTFREI (German for stainless steel) stamped vertically just to its right. It also has an unused and unsharpened stainless steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. Both faces still have their original factory mirror polish and the blade still has its original factory edge. Stamped on the front tang is H BOKER (over) & CO (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of that period and ROSTFREI (German for stainless steel) stamped vertically just to its right. Opening from the bottom of the frame is an unused carbon steel corkscrew. Both cutting blades must be closed before opening up the corkscrew. The knife has a great set of multi-shaded light to dark brown imitation horn (celluloid) scales. It has a single extremely tight pin crack on the front scale on the right bottom center pin. There are four brass handle pins in each scale. The knife has brightly polished nickel silver rounded bolsters with no dents or dings. The knife has brightly polished brass liners and two brightly polished separate steel back springs. The back springs are free of any cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This outstanding vintage Salesman’s Sample H BOKER & CO SOLINGEN Equal End Pen/Bartender’s Folding Pocket Knife is in Near Mint and is 3 1/4” in length.
