German Eye Carl Schlieper Sodbuster Yellow Comp Solingen Germany 2nd
This is a Carl Schlieper German Eye brand sodbuster made in Solingen Germany. This came from a collection I purchased from a knife wholesaler in Solingen Germany so this is new old stock. Not sure if this was a factory second or if this developed an issue over time. The handles are coming unglued at the left end on the pile side and a little less on the mark side, see photos. The handles are chip and crack free yellow composite material. The blade has not been used or resharpened and retains its factory edge. Good snap and no wobble or play. Measures 4 1/2" closed OAL. No box since this was sold in Germany and these aren't sold in boxes there. Free shipping within the USA. Priced with the defect in mind.
