Thomaston Knife Co. (Likely 1800-1883) around Naugatuck, Conn. This rare quill pen knife shows it age on the blade, but it doesn't appear to have been manually sharpened. The MOP scales are in excellent condition with a few pocket-carry scratches, but no cracks around the pins. The blade opens and holds nicely, but it closes weakly. A rare find for a serious collector. 2 1/2 inches closed.
