This is a German Made Vintage or Antique H BOKER & CO SOLINGEN 4-Blade Equal End Folding Pocket Knife with a Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull and KING CUTTER Etched on the Rear Face Inside a Banner, a Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, another Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Pen Tertiary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Dual Sided Nail File, or Manicure Blade, a Set of Yellow Celluloid Scales in Great Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Three (3) German Silver Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished German Silver Rounded Bolsters, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Two (2) Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 3/8” in Length, Made in Solingen, Germany by H. Boker & Co Cutlery Between c.1869-1944.

This is a German made H Boker & Co Solingen 4-blade equal end pen folding pocket knife. The knife has a used and sharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. Both faces are lousy with scratches from use and overzealous attempts to sharpen the blade. The front face has just a few light stains. Still visible on the rear face is KING CUTTER inside a banner etched on it. It’s very light now but still easy to see the entire etching. Stamped on the rear tang is H. BOKER & CO (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the front tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo for that era. Next to the spear point blade main is the carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. Both faces have tons of scratches from use along with a rather poor attempt to sharpen the blade. Just a few very light scattered stains on either face. Stamped on the front tang is H BOKER & CO’S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of that era. On the other end of the frame is the second used and sharpened carbon steel pen tertiary blade which also has a common nail pull. It’s in a similar but better condition than the other pen blade Stamped on the front tang is H. BOKER & CO’S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand logo of the era. The final blade is a carbon steel dual-sided nail file, or manicure, blade with a common nail pull. Each side has a standard vertical ridge and valley type file blade. The top portion of the blade is the fingernail cleaner. Stamped on the rear tang is H BOKER & CO’S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of the era. All four blades have excellent snap on open and close and hard half-stops. This knife has a nice looking set of yellow celluloid scales. They’re in excellent plus condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There is a German Silver crest shaped shield inlaid flush in the front scale. The knife has three (3) German Silver handle pins in each scale. It has brightly polished nickel silver rounded bolsters and polished brass liners. The knife has two steel back springs both of which are free of any cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This Vintage German made H Boker & Co Solingen 4-blade equal end pen pocket knife was made in the Boker factory located in Solingen, Germany between c.1869-1944. The knife is 3 3/8” in length.
