Valley Forge (Boker USA) Scout knife circa 1920s
Very early Valley Forge (Boker USA) Scout knife circa 1920s with smooth bolsters (no lines). 3 5/8” closed. Problem free bone handles. Pinned nickel silver shield which reads “SCOUT KNIFE”. Nickel silver bail. Carbon steel blade and tools, brass liners. Hard snap on everything, nothing loose, no play. This is the oldest Valley Forge scout knife I have seen. The last image is from Boker’s 1928 catalog and is for comparison only. This is a great example of a rare early American scout knife and it’s clean and sharp!
