Martial Arts / Ninja Throwing Star - 4 Foldable "lockable" Blades - Belt Clamp 

Weight is 7.6 ounces - Closed it measures about 4" across - Open it measures 8 1/4".  Each blade locks in place when open.  There is some etching on the blade and it is printed - 440 Stainless China 

This was an impulse purchase back in the 1980s.  I'm having trouble finding a foldable 4 blade star for comparison on pricing. Most of what I see are 3 blade and not available. It's a unique item, very sharp.  I have never tried to throw it, it's been more of a conversation piece for my office.  To be honest, I don't think it's very practical but I thought it was well made and unusual when I purchased it.
