This is a Vintage or Antique H BOKER SOLINGEN GERMANY Model No. 6787 3-Blade Equal End Lobster Pen Folding Pocket Knife, with a Lightly Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Dual-Sided Fingernail File, or Manicure, Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Set of Working Carbon Steel Scissors Opening From the Bottom of the Frame, a Gorgeous Set of Translucent Genuine Mother-of-Pearl Scales in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Four (4) Brightly Polished German Silver Handle Pins in Each Scale, the Original Bail Still Securely Riveted to the Frame, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Milled Liners, Internal Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 2 1/4” in Length, Made in Germany by H Boker & Co Located in Solingen, Germany in the Heinrich Boker Baumwerks factory and Made Between c.1891-1944.

This H BOKER & CO SOLINGEN GERMANY stamp was one of the stampings used on Boker Knives made in Germany between c.1891-1944. The knife has a lightly used and sharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. The front face has quite a bit of scattered light to micro-pitting but the rear face is cleaner with just a few scattered clusters of light pitting. The blade actually looks to be unused and definitely unsharpened. Stamped on the front tang is H BOKER (over) & CO (over) SOLINGEN (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree logo for that era. On the other end of the frame is a carbon steel dual-sided nail file, or manicure, blade with a common nail pull. There is a standard vertical ridge and valley type file on each face The top portion the blade is the fingernail cleaner. Stamped on the front tang is BOKER. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker tree logo used in that era. Opening from the bottom of the frame on this lobster pen is a still functional pair of scissors with the spring still attached. Both sides have quite a bit of staining and scattered very light pitting but it doesn’t impair the functionality of the scissors. All three blades still have very good to excellent snap on both open and close. The scales are a gorgeous set of translucent genuine Mother-of-Pearl in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. Being translucent they change shapes, patterns and when turned in the light. There are four (4) polished German Silver handle pins in each scale. The original bail is still riveted to the frame. It has brightly polished milled German Silver liners. The two polished steel back springs are free of any cracks or breaks and continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This lightly used, but flawed from moisture, H Boker & Co equal end lobster shadow pen pocket knife is 2 1/4” in length. Additional photos or information on request.
