This is a H Boker & Co Solingen 2-blade Slim Serpentine Pen Knife.  This knife was made in the Boker factory in Germany between c.1869-1944. The knife has an used and sharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. Both faces have scratches from use and sharpening. The front face has some scattered staining and some light pitting under the nail pull. The rear face has some scattered light pitting and an outline oval of previous rust after being cleaned. Stamped on the front tang is H BOKER & CO (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo for that era. On the other end of the frame is an used and sharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. The front face has quite a bit of staining and some scattered clusters of light pitting. The rear face is cleaner with some scattered light staining and a few scattered very light pits. Stamped on the front tang is H BOKER & CO (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of the era. Both blades still have very good to excellent and hard snap. The scales are a set of brown jigged bone.  There is a single extremely tight and hard to see liner to liner crack on the rear scale on the minor blade end pin. You’ll be hard pressed to even see it. The rest of the scales are crack or split free.  There are three (3) brightly polished brass handle pins in each scale. The rounded bolsters are brightly polished German Silver. The liners are brightly polished brass. The knife has a single steel back spring with quite a bit of light pitting but free of any cracks or breaks.  It  continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. The stamping on this knife was used by the Boker Germany factory between c.1869-1944. This H Boker & Co Solingen 2-blade slim serpentine pen pocket knife is 3 3/8” in length..
