This is a Very Nice Vintage CASE TESTED XX 2-Blade Serpentine Pen Folding Pocket Knife with an excellent plus set of Goldstone celluloid scales.  This knife is what I call nearly near mint to near mint although using NKCA guidelines it would still be called mint. I’m just pickier than they are. Someone or multiple someone’s have taken very good care of this knife over the years. The knife has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel clip point main blade with a long nail pull.  Both faces still retain most of their original factory mirror polish and it’s original factory edge.  The front face has a couple of very minor specks and the rear face has just one very light one up near the blade tip  Both faces gave some light blade or liner scuffs and some hard to see very light horizontal scratches from cleaning and not use. Stamped on the front tang is CASE (long tail C)(over) TESTED XX. This stamp was used between c.1920-1940. There are no other stamp on either blade. On the other end of the frame is an unused and unsharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull.  It also retains most of its original factory mirror polish and it’s original factory edge.  The front face is pretty much clean with no more than a nearly impossible to see specks and a few minor scuffs. The rear face has one small cluster of very light pitting next to the tang and another smaller one on the tang. Both blades still have excellent open and close snap. The knife has a beautiful set of Goldstone celluloid scales and they’re in excellent plus condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips.  Plus they still retain the same sparkle as when they were new. There are three (3) brass handle pins in each scale. The knife has brightly polished nickel silver squared bolsters. The liners are brightly polished brass.  It has a single brightly polished steel back spring and it’s free of any cracks or breaks and continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. This nice old Vintage Nearly Near Mint to Near Mint 2-Blade Serpentine Pen Folding Pocket Knife is in excellent unused condition and is 2 5/8” in length.  Made between c.1920-1940 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Additional photos or information on request.
