This is the third in a series of Scagel inspired knives. All have spalted maple, horn, brass, 410 stainless, vulcanized fiber spacers with stag pommels/ends. This blade is forged from 5160 quenched and hardened to 60 RCH. The hidden tang extends well into the stag, the handle is secure for life. The blade finish is brushed (handsanded to 400 grit) and the grind is flat with a very slight convex shape, razor sharp to shave, guaranteed. The nickel silver guard is also satin finished at 400 grit. The sheath is handmade and fit to this knife. I use 6oz veg tanned as I hand stitch everything. Para cord ties can be used with your own options for fastening, there are several common methods. The overall length is 10 1/4” with a 5” blade. It’s a keeper, or trade up if you want!
