A.G. Russell Seki Japan Made Lockback Cocobolo?
This is an A.G. Russell lockback. Made in Seki Japan in the 1990's by some of Japan's finest craftsmen. The handles are made of what I think is Cocobolo or some other very beautiful wood that is chip and crack free. The stainless steel blade is VG-10, which is a better stainless than the usual 440 or AUS-8. VG-10 has a fairly high Rockwell of 59-60 and holds a great edge. The blade has not been used or resharpened and retains it's factory edge. The black spacer between the bolster and wooden handles looks great. Measures 4" closed OAL. Nice lockup and easy release. Comes with an A.G. Russell box, not the original. Free shipping within the USA.
