This is a Vintage Used and Sharpened Colonial Knife Co. 2-Blade Silver Toned Embossed Metal Equal End Shadow Pen Folding Pocket Knife with a Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Narrow Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, A Nice Set of Decorative Silver Toned Embossed Metal Scales with Several Different Patterns, the Original Bail Still Riveted to the Frame, a Single Steel Back Spring with No Cracks or Breaks, 2 3/4” in Length, Made by the Colonial Knife Co. Located in Providence, Rhode Island.

This is a nice looking used vintage silver toned embossed metal equal end shadow Senator pen pocket knife. The knife has a lightly 11used and sharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. Both blades faces have scattered light staining. Stamped on the front tang is COLONIAL (over) PROV R.I. (over) U S A. It has a used and sharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. Both faces have some scattered light stains. The front tang is stamped U.S.A.  Both blades have A GOOD "thump" on open and a hard snap on close. The handles are silver toned embossed metal with both covers being identical. Even to the point that both covers have a dent  They have wavy vertical lines running along the border of the covers with horizontal lines running within the border decoration. Each side has a smooth rectangle in the center which was intended to be an area where one could have initials etched. Both sides polished up nice and bright though each cover has a dent. The original silver toned or steel bail is still attached to the frame with rivets. The handles also serve as the liners. It has a single steel back spring. It’s free of any cracks or breaks and continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. This Colonial Cutlery Co. gold tone embossed shadow pen pocket knife was made in Providence, Rhode Island. The knife is 2 3/4” in length. Additional photos or information on request.
