BOKER & CO’S CUTLERY GERMANY 3-Blade Sleeveboard Shadow Lobster Pen Folding Pocket Knife with a Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Nail File, or Manicure, Blade Opening From the Bottom of the Frame, a Very Nice Set of Fiery Genuine Mother-of-Pearl Scales in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, a Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Bar Shield Inlaid Flush in the Front Scale, 4 Nickel Silver Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Internal Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 2 3/4” in Length, Made in Germany by H. Boker & Co’s Cutlery Germany Between c.1891-1944. This H. BOKER & CO’S CUTLERY GERMANY stamp was the stamping used on Boker Knives made in Germany between c.1891-1944.

The knife has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. It still maintains its original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge. The front face has some very scattered specks with the two most prominent under the nail pull. The rear face has just a few very scattered very light specks. Stamped on the front tang is H. BOKER & CO’S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of the era. On the other end of the frame is an unused and unsharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. It still maintains it’s original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge. The front face has a small area of light pitting under the nail pull and some specks at the blade tip. Stamped on the front tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of the period. Opening from the bottom of the frame is a carbon steel nail file, or manicure, blade. This blade is smooth on the three outside surfaces and has a standard vertical ridge and valley type file on the surface that folds face down into the frame. The top portion of the blade is the fingernail cleaner. There is some light pitting on the smooth sides of the blade. All three blades still have excellent open and close snap though the file blade is more of a “thump” on open. This knife has a excellent set of Fiery Genuine Mother-of-Pearl scales. They are in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. They exhibit the blues, greens, pinks and purples within the pearl when you turn them in the light. There is a brightly polished nickel silver bar shield inlaid in the front scale. The knife has four nickel silver handle pins in each scale. The liners are brightly polished brass. The knife has internal steel back springs and are free of any cracks or breaks and they continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This old Vintage or Antique H.
