BOKER & CO’S IMPROVED CUTLERY 2-Blade Shadow Pen Folding Pocket Knife with a Barely Used or Sharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, Much of it’s Original Factory Mirror Polish and Probably it’s Original Factory Edge, a Barely Used or Sharpened Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Long Nail Pull and Much of it’s Original Factory Mirror Polish, A Fantastic Set of Thick Light Brown Stag Scales in Excellent Plus Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Three (3) Recessed Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, a Single Steel Back Spring with No Cracks or Breaks, 2 3/8” in Length, Made in Germany by H. Boker & Co’s Located in Solingen, Germany 111-142 Years Old Being Made Between c.1869-1910.

This knife was made in the Boker factory in Germany between c.1869-1910 making it between 111-142 years old. It has survived in excellent condition. This knife has a barely used and probably unsharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. It still has much of its original factory finish and probably its original factory edge. The front face has just a small amount of scattered very light micro-pits. The rear face has some scattered scuff marks and a couple of very light pits. Stamped on the front tang is H. BOKER (over) & CO’S (over) IMPROVED (over) CUTLERY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo for that era. On the other end of the frame is a barely used and maybe sharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a long nail pull. It still maintains much of its original factory finish. The front face has small area of very light pitting near the cutting edge below the end of the nail pull. The rear face is pretty clean with a little haze most likely from polishing paste. Stamped on the front tang is BOKER’S (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is the Boker Tree Brand tree logo of the era. Both blades still have the same excellent hard and loud open, close and half-stop snap as it did when it first came off the factory floor. The scales are a fantastic set of light brown and very thick stag. They are in excellent plus condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There are three recessed brass handle pins in each scale. The liners are brightly polished brass as well. The knife has a single steel back spring which is free of any cracks or breaks and continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. The stamping on this knife was used by the Boker Germany factory between c.1869-1910 making this beauty between 111-142 years old. This exceptional vintage and antique H.
