Case XX 6246R 1973 Red Bone Mariners Knife   This knife looks new, never carried, never re-sharpened. The master sheepsfoot blade is 3-1/4” long from tip to tang, and 7-5/8” long when fully opened. It has the Case XX stainless USA 7-dot tang stamp indicating that it was made in 1973. The spike is also 3-1/4 long. Nickel bolsters and brass liners. The knife has some of the best red bone handles on it from that era. They are just gorgeous. There is also a lanyard loop at the back bolster. The blade has a good snap when closing and solid click when opening. You don’t see many of these knives around now days.   Please look at the images carefully, because a good look will tell you more than I could possibly describe with words.
