ADDITIONAL INFO:     John Goins dates the Anton Wingen factory is having begun in 1875 to present. Wingen made a lot of contract knives for American companies and the Othello logo Tang stamp was generally on the back up them. This knife it appears was not made for a contract knife but made to bear the house brand on the front Tang and the Othello stamp on the rear tank. This style knife was quite popular right after World War Two and they have remained popular to this day. The stag on this knife is beautiful.
