This whittler has some of the best looking brown jigged bone handles I have seen on one of these knives.  I have had 8 of these whittlers over time and this one stands out as one of the prettiest.  Made in 1989 in Seki Japan by some of Japan's finest craftsmen for A.G. Russell.  This Cattaraugus brand whittler has chip and crack free handles.  The blades  are stainless steel and are mirror polished and so are the back springs.  The knife has nickel silver throughout, with nickel silver bolsters, pins, liners and shield.  Serial number 1381 is engraved on the backspring.  Measures right at 3 1/2" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  No box, but I will include a zippered pouch for storage.  Priced a bit lower than I usually price these since there is no box.  Free shipping within the USA.
