This beauty is 30 years old.  Made at the time when Case was owned by Jim Parker and he farmed out the production of Case knives to other companies.  Made by Queen for Case, these Case Classics have become more popular and more collectible than Case made knives from the same period.  The Rogers jigged brown bone handles are chip and crack free.  The carbon steel blades are mirror polished and have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edge.  There is blade rub on the back of the master blade, see photo's. The cause of the blade rub is from the pull, people tend to push the blade over hard when trying to open these and that causes the rub on the other blades. The pull on the main blade is as hard as they come.  This is a true Splitback whittler where the two backsprings meet to form the spring for the one main blade.  They designed these to be hard to close in order to protect the hands of people using the knife, this was the alternative when there were no liner locks, backspring locks or any other way to keep the blade open.  This design is based on knife designs from around the turn of the 20'th century.  Comes with the original box and COA.  Measures 3 3/4' closed OAL.  Free shipping within the USA.
