ADDITIONAL INFO: The Kershaw Easy Rider series is one of the earliest ones they came out with being seen in magazine ads as far back as 1976, just two years after Pete Kershaw started Kershaw knives. For many years Kershaw only published flyers and brochures and not actual catalogs as they do today is very difficult to document a catalog history of Kershaw knives. I have not seen the Kershaw Bigfoot #2070 listed in any Kershaw publication except the 1984-1985 catalog pages. It is not listed in the 1984 catalog pages I have, it is listed in the 1984-1985 catalog pages, which is probably catalog for the last half of 1984 and first half of 1985. The next semi-complete catalog I have is 1988 and the Bigfoot is not listed in the 1980 catalog pages. I think the Bigfoot was probably only made for one or two years. The sheath for this knife is the original heavy leather Kershaw sheath that says KERSHAW/LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON on the belt loop at the rear of the sheath. It is probably one of the rarer of the Easy Rider Series and as far as I can tell the last new pattern added to the series. The Lake Oswego marking on the sheath fits the 1985 timeframe for the production of this knife. Kershaw moved from Lake Oswego to Wilsonville Oregon in 1985, towards the fall if memory serves me correctly. I was in the Wilsonville Kershaw facility several times to pick up knife orders when we needed them quickly.
