Case XX Trapperlock Stag Covers, 5154LC CV (2011 Tang Stamp)
For you consideration is a Case XX Trapperlock with stag covers and CV blade. This was an SFO but I don’t recall for whom. The etching has been pretty well polished away by a previous owner; there is a faint image remaining. The pocket clip was off and missing the screws. I found one that fits and put the clip back on. Despite it being short a screw the clip is secure and doesn’t slide around. The edge has been freshly sharpened to match the factory angle, which is about 25°. There are wear/use marks on the knife but serious IMHO (no major scratches, no cracks in the covers, etc). I do see now that there is one small spot that may be surface rust just below and to the left of the model stamp; I saw it taking photos but not before. No other rust or peppering that I can see on it. It may not be a collector’s piece but she’s a great EDC candidate.
