A.G. Russell Seki Japan Made Damascus Lockback Cocobolo Handles
This is what I would call a legacy knife. This knife is very well built and made to last a lifetime and then some. The most distinguishing feature of this A.G. Russell knife is the Damascus steel used for the blade and the bolsters. I have been trying to narrow down the type of steel and the closest match is either Powdered Cowry or White Steel. Both are expensive and very difficult to work with. The blade is very thick at the spine and when it locks up it has a very satisfying loud "click". The blade has not been used or resharpened. The handles are Cocobolo wood. The liners are made of aluminum. This knife is made in Seki Japan by some of Japans finest craftsmen. Made in the early 1990's. No box. Free shipping within the USA.
I also have a factory second knife exactly like this one listed for sale in my store, keep scrolling.
