ADDITIONAL INFO: This knife was made prior to 1977 which is when Western began using a single letter beneath the tang stamp to indicate the year in which it was produced. This has the much older style tang stamp, so it was obviously produced in 1976 or earlier. The 652 is a great pattern and I have several of them, so I thought I would pass one of the extras along to someone who needs one. This one has some staining on the blades and the blades are worn down about 10 to 15% from what I can tell so it still has a lot of life left in it. Nice snap, good walk and talk and no side to side blade wobble. I love the slim clip blade and and the slim pen blade in this pattern they make great “sliver pickers.” And this is a nice thin unobtrusive knife that is very comfortable to carry in the pocket.
