MAKER :   H. Boker & Cos, Improved Cutlery

PATTERN :   Tool Knife

CLOSED LENGTH :   3 5/8thinches long.

HANDLES :   Jigged bone and there is a very tight and barely visible pin crack on the back side at the center pin. 

TANG STAMPS :   The tangs of the spear and large pen blades are stamped H. BOKER & COS (over) IMPROVED (over) CUTLERY. The pile sides of both blades are stamped with the TREE Logo. The tang of the pliers handle is stamped PAT.APLD FOR.

CONDITION :    Very good to excellent.  There are just a few sharpening scratches on the spear blade and patina. The spring for the pliers is still in place and functional.

BOX:   None

DAMAGE :   A few stains and patina, light scratches, pin crack.

AGE :   1899 to 1920s 

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN :   Germany

BLADE WEAR :   Minimal.  Check it out in the photos.

SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH :   There is an oval shield on both sides of this one.  The one on the mark side is stamped LODER & SHARP (over) PHILA. PA.  On the pile side the shield is stamped EVERYTHING FOR ROADS.

SNAP :   Excellent on both blades, opening and closing.
