VINTAGE BOKER KNIFE, Mdl 159, Stacked Leather Handle, Very Nice
This is a Vintage Boker 159 knife that I believe was made around 1960-1970. The blade is 5 1/8" long with an overall knife length of almost 9". It is stamped "Boker Solingen Germany-Alemania" with the Tree Logo, and the reverse with "159". The handle is stacked leather with an aluminum pommel. The blade has thumb notices on the top of the spine, and everything is tight on the knife. The knife has not been used or sharpened. It has not been stored in the sheath, so the leather flap on the sheath closes kind of tight and should probably stretch out with use, as leather normally does. There are a couple very small spots on the right side of the blade that would probably polish out with a little metal polish or Flitz. Overall the knife is in awesome shape and has been well cared for. It comes with the original Boker brown leather sheath. This knife was made in Germany.
