For your consideration is Bulldog Brand Muskrat. The knife measures 3-7/8" closed. The Bulldog Knife Club (BKC) number is 114. This is a regular issue knife. There was 300 made in 1982 which makes this knife a true 1st Gen knife (1978-1987). The handle material isButter & Molasses celluloid. No issues that I can see with the handle material. Quite possibly some shrinkage near the bolsters. I was told the muskrat shield is Sterling Silver, but can't find any information to corroborate that. The blades are high carbon steel, pins and bolsters are nickel silver, and the liners are brass. The etch is "Johnny Muskrat" The blades open and close with good snap. No blade wobble or movement when open. The knife has not been used, carried, or sharpened. There is some light pitting on the blades and back spring. I was able to hand polish the carbon from the pitted areas. Please ask questions and I will answer to the best of my ability. If you would like more pictures, I would be happy to upload them.
