When the Double Cross and Double Duty patterns were introduced by Kershaw in 2001 I was amazed at what a nice presentation these knives made. They look like a classic serpentine jack pattern but with the thumb stud, a liner lock, no backsprings and good modern materials. At a glance one could mistake it for a very nice wooden handle jackknife.
