Vintage Edgemaster Fishtail Light purple swirl switchblade
Nice old Edgemaster fishtail with light purple/ white swirl plastic scales. This knife was made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940's or early 50s. It measures 4" closed and 7 1/8" open with brass liners. The blade is nearly full with most of the original factory finish still intact. Light patina and a little bit of spotting, but overall a great blade! The purple/white swirl scales are very attractive and in very nice condition with just a minimal amount of shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade seating good, good snap and good lockup! Safety even works! This is a very nice example of a vintage 1950s American fishtail automatic!
