ADDITIONAL INFO:      This is a nice Keen Kutter Barlow with beautiful bone handles. When I first got it I thought it had a crack or the dark bone is on the front handle, but that appears to be solid. I just noticed there may be a crack at the rear pin on the pile side handle; it’s also possible that may just be checking of the bone. At any rate it’s nice and tight and should not be a problem. I don’t think this knife has been used much A) because of the full blades and B) because there are no chips on the bear end of the bone handles. That’s normally where the first chips appear, the first time the knife is dropped on a hard surface like concrete floor. This is a nice knife, but not perfect though I believe it is suitable for display or use.
