Jim Parker really knew what he was doing (who can doubt that) when he picked out this one. It's a beautiful white pearl, no shield, (the no shield 91 pearl is a great story), PROTOTYPE. When is the last time you saw one of these knock-outs? This is a very early, very rare prototype. They say "what goes around comes around", well, I surely hope to see this one again someday---but that won't happen. It's new home will be a safe or a vault,--- somewhere under lock and key. I'll just enjoy it while I own it.

A note on the history of this knife:

This knife is from the personal collection of James F. Parker, founder of the Case Classic Series. Between 1998 and 1999 Jim commissioned the delivery of 94 Case Classic knives to represent his personal collection of his favorite Case Classic pattern, the 3091 Anglo Saxon Whittler.

The display of these 94 knives remained untouched in their solid oak display case in Jim's office in Chattanooga, TN until 2010 when I purchased them.
