ADDITIONAL INFO:      This knife is an early Al Mar from the first manufacturer he used to make his knives. The closest I can date this as circa 1979 – 1981. After this series of knives was made after he switched to Huhey, the manufacturer that he felt made the best knives in Japan. I have an Al Mar Utility II that I purchased in the early 1980s that I carried daily for several years. These are good solid knives made to stand up to everyday use but now they are very rare collectibles. There is no box with this knife it does come in a decent quality nylon sheath.
