Western USA S-532 "C" Wood Westlock Lockback Knife with sheath and box.  1978

This knife is from the series Western called the "NATURE" etchings.  I have an advertisement from 1979 that proclaims this knife has

"More Quality Features than any other lock blade at any price".  It goes on to describe those features.  "Enclosed trouble free lock spring system (Patent No. 4,040,181), 440 series stainless steel, takes and holds a keen edge, Blade is double swedged for better point, Heavy duty pivot pin, Nickel silver bolsters on both ends for strength and beauty, Slim handle is wide and form fitting for grip control"

This knife has an etch of a Cougar or Mountain Lion on the blade. This knife comes with everything shown in the first picture, Sheath, Box.  The knife is in excellent condition.  It has never been used, carried, or sharpened.  They only produced the Mountain Lion etch for 2 or 3 years.  I think that is why you don't see this etch as often.
