Additional info: This Benchmade fixed blade knife is aimed at the River Guide and Rescue Community. The Model 100S (Partially Serrated) R&R (River Guide & Rescue) features a 3 1/4" GIN-1 Stainless Steel blade with a modified sheepsfoot shape, having a bit more point and depth than a traditional sheepsfoot. The GIN-1 Steel is a bit more Corrosion Resistant than AST-34 or 154 CM without a huge loss in performance, so it's probably a good Great Choice for this use. This is a full tang construction with a lanyard hole at the end and features G10 scales. This one is the Limited Edition Numbered Pre Production Run , only 1000 made. Also has the Kydex sheath which Features the "Thumb-Toggle Lock." In the locked position, the eccentric body of the lock wedges against the handle. This allows secure carry, even in the upside down position. ( A Very Safe To Carry Necker, Here... even on the ole Harley! A quick flip of the thumb releases the knife.This is indeed a Very Impressive and Fine Made Piece of Quality Collectable or Very Useable, USA Cutlery! This is a Very Rare and Hard To Find ... Benchmade / Elishewitz ~ Beaver Creek Road, Oregon USA ~ BALI-SONG ~ Model 100S R&R ~ Strait Knife model was first introduced at the Blade Show in 2001 and was ((( Discontinued in 2004 ))). This knife is New Old Stock, Mint In Box. A Real Pleasure To Handle. Only 1000 of these were made and the knives are serial numbered. Comes with the Original and Unique Thumb Toggle Lock Kydex Sheath Box and Papers.
