Selling a really nice Bulldog Brand knife. For the 2000 year production, Bulldog made these lockback knives.  They made them in three sizes, the Little Buddy 3 1/8", the Big Buddy 3 7/8", and the Hercules 4 1/8".  They made these in three handle materials: Oyster Shell celluloid, Duckfeather celluloid, and Genuine Stag.  This knife is the large Hercules and has the genuine stag handles.  I bought this new and it has been stored the entire time I have owned it.  It comes with the original box.  I still have the Bulldog knife catalog I bought this out of and they say this about the tang stamp.  "Discontinued Standing Dog tang stamp. This rare stamp was only used for a few months.  The blades are hot drop forged with a deep stamp "Bulldog Brand" in the center of the blade.  I knew they used this tang stamp for a short period of time, I did not remember they only used it a few months.  I am including a picture of the top of that page from the catalog.  If you are only going to have one of this style knife, this is the one to have.
