ADDITIONAL INFO:      I was able to find a little bit of information on series of Remington knives. What I found was The “New Tang Stamp Series” were made in 1988 by Camillus. There were supposed to have only been 2000 knives made of each pattern. I don’t know how many patterns were produced, but I will be offering four patterns for sale. This knife comes with a Remington certificate of authenticity. The COA states in part; “This limited production commemorates Remington’s moved to Madison, N.C. and the issuance of a new Remington tang stamp.” I have had this knife for about nine years and it has remained in the box all the time. It still feels like it has some of the original protective oil on it. I purchased it July 3, 2009 from City Sporting Goods in Sutherland, Oregon. Unfortunately that store is now closed. I bought a number of knives from them over the years and it was one of my favorite places to my fishing gear.
