Made in USA in the mid-90's this S&W is model SW980 a tactical/large hunter knife. Knife is new with box marked made in USA. There are 2 almost identical models of this knife, one made in China and one made in USA. You have to know how to tell them apart; the box is marked made in USA, the sheath comes to a spear point and says made in USA on the back.
