CONDITION:   Very Good (except for patch in the handle)

DAMAGE:    Dings in bolsters, normal wear and patina.

BLADE WEAR:   Blades are very full. Blade wear approx 5%.

SNAP:   Outstanding snap on all four blades.

MADE IN:   U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:            According to John Goins’ Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings the tang stamp of this knife was used from 1940, (when Pal Blade Co. purchased the cutlery division of Remington Arms), until 1945 when Pal change its name to Pal Cutlery Co. It continued until 1953 when Pal Cutlery Co. closed.  While this knife was made circa World War II it is not a pattern I could find in Pocket Knives of the US Military by Michael W Silvey. However, if I recall correctly the Navy did purchase some knives of this configuration during World War II. I have seen some Imperial knives with the same blade configuration.
