This Made in USA knife  is 9.5" overall, 5" Blade of 1095 steel with Zinc Phosphate coated sawback blade. Steel butt cap, leather sheath includes whetstone and leg tie. Cosmetic blemish factory second. Blade will be marked "2nd".

Abner Fitzwillie notes, "This knife like many of Ontario and Ka-Bar knives have been around forever. It is still a sought after knife and the blade design and shape make it an excellent Bushcraft or Survival knife. The front pouch with Whetstone is helpful, however you might be able to substitute a ferro rod and fire making supplies if you prefer. I could see no major defects on the blade or sheath but the leather handle looks like it might have been compressed too much - see photo- may not be a disadvantage? Knife is sold as it is, new but marked a 2nd. Study the photos. It is a heavy knife designed for abuse."
